What is Systems Engineering?
Systems engineering is an interdisciplinary approach to designing, integrating, and managing complex systems, emphasizing a holistic view that addresses stakeholder needs and considers technical, economic, environmental, and social factors throughout the system's lifecycle.
INCOSE
INCOSE stands for the International Council on Systems Engineering. The student chapter’s purpose is to serve the UVA systems undergraduate community by advocating for its students and providing students with opportunities for career development and networking. In previous years, events have included a Systems Networking Night, networking series with various companies including Deloitte, Appian, Mitre, EY, and others, coffee chats with professors, and a systems semi-formal connecting students with faculty.
We are committed to providing UVA Systems Engineering students with networking opportunities and social experiences!
